Hi
Can anybody explain me regarding SAP HANA
Is it a part of any sap module ?
Thanks
swapna
Hello Swapna,
HANA is a high performance In-Memory Database developed by SAP. As of today you can migrate your BW to HANA (provided you are at 7.3). In future you will be able to migrate ERPalso from any of the existing databases to HANA. Meanwhile, if you want to offload any of the activities from Production (such as Z-reports or CO-PA), you can use Accelerators along with Realtime replication tool - SLT. HANA is designed to completely optimize OLTP and BW type of environments. It is very powerful database.
HANA is delivered as an Appliance.
Hopefully it helps. Otherwise, I can add more information as well.

Hi Swapna,
By understanding your experience, I would not suggest you to go for SAP HANA.
HANA means SAP High Performance Analytic Appliance is a data warehouse appliance used for analyse high volume of date at a faster rate. This is more of a technology rather than a module. Please search in google with SAP HANA you will find lot of stuff.
Best Regards,
Ravi
