common distribution channel

I have created 2 sales areas 1. DRAP-DE-GG

                                           2.DRAP-DE-AP and created customer under 1 which is defined common distribution channel and common division .As per concept of common distribution channel and common division one customer is extended to all sales areas .But when i am checking the same customer in another sales area 2 in display mode ,the caution prompt is coming that customer is not created under 2 . But as per concept I think it has to come.SO HOW CAN WE DO THIS AND OBSERVE THE CONCEPT OF EXTENSION OF CUSTOMER MASTER DATA TO ALL SALES AREAS IN SAP SYSTEM

Hi Kiran,

Please go to XD01 put the existing Customer code and fill up the second sales area and extend the customer in second sales area.

If you want to extend a customer  you have to go to Creation Tcode i.e XD01.

It means you are creating a new record in a different sales area.

go to xd03 enter the  enter the customer number , after click on customer sales areas icon here show how meany sales area extend the this customer ,

here check your sales area is available or not ,  it is not available can extend the material at XD01 level
