Skipping of MIC in inspection lot

Hi Friends,

I have 10 MIC's attached in the inspection plan for a material. Out of these 10MIC's there is one MIC for which we do testing once in every 10th inspection lot ( as per standard) and record in SAP.

These MIC gets copied in all inspection lot by default and we have to maintain dummy result every time which is of no use. So the requirement is we want this MIC to be copied into the inspection lot in multiple of 10 like if it comes first time in inspection lot 1 then it should only appear appear in 11th , 21st, 31st etc.

Please help.

DMR or just make the characteristic optional so it doesn't prevent UD.

U can use DMR at Characteristics Level..
