Master Characteristic Display Error

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I have an issue in our production system. I think it's very simple but I can't seem to find the error.

In transaction CG02, I enter the specification number, then go to Quality and Master Inspection.

As you can see in the screen shot, the characteristic where it says RANGE, shows in the last column as "10,"

Well, the customer do not want to see that comma "," in there when it has no decimals...

When I do F1 in the field, it shows the characteristic as follows:

I think the problem is the TEMPLATE defined, but in CT04 it won't let me change it!

Any insights?? Please! 🙂

Thanks guys!

Fernanda

Greetings Fernanda,

The decimal comma is mandatory if you had also specified decimal places for the value. Unless you do not require decimal places at all, it has to stay.
