material availability time in GATP

Hi,

Please advise if anyone knows how to set the Material availability time to 00:00:00 instead of the default time its setting currently. It looks like right now its setting the Current time of the Plant (based on time zone) when GATP was performed. Also I had noticed that if the quantity is split,  for the second line item

the time is set as 00:00:00. Not sure why this is not consistent.

Hi GK,

The times are consistent. The MBDAT and time are calculated based on the timestreams and durations. In your example, the first schedule MBUHR is calculated via forward scheduling based on actual date and time. The second schedule line calculated via backwards scheduling, based on the ATP date and time (the material is available at 00:00:00 I suppose). Thus you have this time in the second schedule line.

If you want to have 00:00:00 always in the schedule lines you might adjust the confirmation in a userexit or work with unloading calendars or change the requested delivery time in the sales order to the next date at 00:00:00.

But the system can not return a confirmation in the past..e.g. you request quantity for today at 10:21:23, the system can not return MBDAT today and MBUHR 00:00:00 ! just the next day 00:00:00 would be possible, which would mean a "delay" !

Hi,

Thanks Michael for your reply.

Do you or any one know why the availabilty time for the below listed planned order (please see screen shot) is different in Availability screen and in RRP3 screen, why is the time set to 11:00:00.

Any help would be appreciated.

FYI: Start of the Receipts bucket is set to 12:00;00 and Confirmation logic bucket = Conservative.

Hi GK,

You may check your ATP bucket customizing. I think you set flag "Local time" flag there. This means you are using summer time of the local time zone to define the bucket.

With Conservative logic, the order will be confirmed at the end of the bucket. Therefore, in summer time, the order will be confirmed at the end of the bucket 12:00:00, but in winter time, it's standard there will be 1 hour difference.

Hi GK,

In RRP3 Menu: Settings/Time Zone, you can choose which time zone you use to display.
