SAP SETUP 9.0 and SAP GUI 7.30

Is there a different SL TOOLSET for use creating the Installation Server for SAP GUI 7.30 comp 1?

Hello Daniel,

It's the same sapsetup as in 7.20.

The latest version is 9.0.1.19, which works for 7.20 and 7.30

Hi Daniel,

SAPSetup version 9 is still being used for SAPGui for Windows 730, however there are some installation problems with NwSapSetup Version 9.0 version 19 and older versions. NWSAPSETUP was being terminated due to a program error in the older NwSapSetup.exe file versions.

A fix will be delivered as part of patch 21 for SAP Setup 9.0 (3 to 7 days away). The release of patch 21 is currently scheduled for the beginning of calendar week 45 (5.11. - 9.11.2012). Before the release of the patch, the workaround when this happens is to reboot the affected machines and then restart the installation.

Search Results should contain SAPSETUP????????21?????.EXE.

Please see note 1587566 for more details. Also note that the new version of NwSapSetupAdmin that is delivered with the patch now requires the .Net 4.0 framework. The .NET runtime is only needed on those machines where you want to start the NwSapSetupAdmin tool. The installer proper as well as the workstation tools do not have any runtime prerequisites.
