Error while transporting the repository schema

Hi Experts,

I am trying to export the schem of my repository and while doing so I am getting the following error " The repository requires addition steps before transport. See the MDS log for details". I am not able to understand anything from the log. Please help out.

Hi Thamiz,

We have faced this issue before when we had untransportable objects on the Validations and Assignments .

Do verify your Logs and Check the Validations and Assignments which are using Lookup Values . You will have re write those again.

Hi Thamiz,

As rightly suggested,run Verify and repair (if required).

Check logs and search for errors/warnings and the detail description of error would contain the details of issue.

Just make changes as per that and that should solve the issue.

Hi Thamizharasi,

You need to check logs once again carefully as it will tell you the exact place which is causing the issue. Also you can try by Verifying the repository and repair it. This should solve your problem and you should be able to transport schema easily. You can also refer below threads:

By employing above mentioned methods, you should be able to export repository schema.
