/SAPSLL/SPL_OFFLINE_SCREENING: Screening External Addresses from XML Files

Hello experts,

We have a requirement to integrate mainframe systems with SAP GTS via XI.

XI picks up text file from sender systems, converts to XML and places it in target folder of GTS.

These files contain business partner extract for sanctioned partner list screening in GTS. However, now our client is telling us that the standard program that they were planning to use for the screening: /SAPSLL/SPL_OFFLINE_SCREENING can read files from local machine only, not from GTS app server, and cannot be run in background. While XI is delivering files in al11 folder.

We are on SAP GTS 7.2.

Has anyone done similar integration using XI ?

Hi Monika,

As you mentioned, the program can be run only in background and I also belive the program support only the file to be uploaded from you local machine/folders. But I guess you can research with your technical team for the possibility of customizing the program.

In our system, we have copied this program and created a custom one to meet the business demands. But then our client gets to use this program very rarely and they will upload the file from their desktop only.
