Manual Inspection Lot With Inspection Type 04

Dear Guru's

I need to create manual inspection lot of around 50 materials in a particular storage location and then i need to clear that lot.Is it possible.i am in REM Scenario.

Kindly give ur's expert comments on this.

Dear SAP PP,

You can create Inspection lot for 04 Inspection type through manually. 04 inspection lot always be against order so do not enter the material.You have to enter CO-Production Order inside it.

In case of inspection type 04..

When you create an inspection lot manually using QA01 transaction, input "plant" & "inspection lot origin" only, not "material" in initial screen.

Then input "quantity" & "order" in production data screen. (material will come from order automatically.)

Even if REM production, you have orders for each plant/material.

You can display the order number in product cost collector transaction such as KKF6N.

You can not create a manual inspection lot with inspection type 04. But you can activate inspection type 89 for the the same material and then use inspection origin 89 when creating a manual lot. You will also need to create an inspection plan with usage 3 if you need to record results.

If you are talking about inspection type 13 ,then its not possible as I know. !
