Hi, I need some help !!!!.
I need to do a budget suplement. I already did it using CJ36. I used another transaction CJ32 to release it. If it´s correct do I release it just with the new amount (suplement) or the original amount + suplement ??.
I tried both ways but there are different errors, for example "Overall budget less than overall release 18,500 < 20,000", budged exceeded, etc.
The Project structure is the following:
Total
A-1 Project 18,500
A-11 PEP Element 1st level
A-11-1 PEP Element 2nd level 10,000
A-11-2 PEP Element 2nd level 8,500
When I run CJ32 the screen shows:
Period Release Currernt Budget
Overall 18,500 18,500
2012 1,500 (suplement)
Total 1,500 (suplement)
I want a budget suplement of US$1,500 for A-11-2. How do I proceed with the supplement ??.
Please advise step by step.
Thks & Best Regards,
Jose.-
Hi Jose,
After reanalyzing your post I understand that You have budgeted for OVERALL and supplementing for 2012 (Correct me if I am wrong).
In CJ36, Don't enter year and make a supplement.
You have to release new amount+Supplement amount for Overall only.

Pranav

Hi jose,
It seems there is some error in total up OR budget year(Overall or Current year).
Add release amount in hierarchy of WBS in current year and overall year.
I am giving you a sample scenario here-
1. WBS A(Parent), WBS A.1(Child level 1) & WBS A.1.1(Child level 2) is in hierarchy.
2. Currently budget is
a.WBS A- 1000
b.WBS A.1 500
c. WBS A.1.1 300
3. Here we are making a supplement of Rs 150 To WBS A.1.1
a. Use CJ36 to make a supplement of Rs 150.
4. During release by cj32 Add Rs 150 in previous release amount of WBS A.1.1, WBS A.1 & WBS A.
5. New budget will be
a.WBS A- 1150
b.WBS A.1 650
c. WBS A.1.1 450

Pranav
