Password hash value

Hi Masters,

I am wondering if somebody knows why in table USR02 some of the users ID do not have  any value in the Password Hash Val Column.  It is because the user  never has been  logged in the System?

Thank you very much for your comments,

Yolanda.

Hello Yolanda,

Actually the 'Password Hash Val' field (USR02-PASSCODE) is 0 when the user's password is deactivated.

I hope it helps.

Best regards,

Felipe Fonseca.

Or the password is only downward (compatible). Then only BCODE is used.

More reliable is field CODVN. If it is 'X" then the pwd is deactivated.

Whether the user logged on is a different topic not only limited to passwords!

Hi Julius,

Many thanks,  It makes more sense to me your answer about downward password, because in some cases I saw that the pass was active and the field was empty.

Thanks both for your collaboration.

Warm regards,

Yolanda.
