What are some key recommendations around managing selections especially in regards to assignment of forecast profiles in DP.
Assign forecast profiles to selections created via the shuffler and use is background processing since users can easily communicate using the selections they create / work with in interactive planning, or use the auto-generated selections for the planning area which are more restrictive in definition and could be difficult to work in the business context if there many characteristics that are involved in definition of the selection. Also, if a forecast parameters are changed either intentionally or un-intentionally, they get picked up in b/g processing which I think is a crack which errors can slip through.
Any advise from implementation and ease of use / maintenance perspectives would be greatly appreciated.
