Hi Gurus!!
I've installed an system SAP 5.0, SID= DET, SN= 01, HOST=SRV01037. in Windows 2003 and SQL 2005 in HP server, this has been finnished succesfull.
Now I've executed backup of the data base of another server HOST=SRV01053, SID=DEV, SN=00 and this data base has been restored in the SRV01037 server, but when I start the instance, the disp+work stopped.
I need know what's the correct procedure, to executed this operation.
Best Regards.

Hi Luis,
Check note 551915.
You will find attached the script that you need to execute in order to change the logins of the database. Read the note carefully to see which one is the script that applies to your case.
Is your original database (DEV) also an SQL 2005?
If not, you also need to upgrade it using the STM tool..

Constantina

Hello,
please follow note 151603 for copying a SQL Database between two SQL server. Follow especially section 8 for the post attach activities. You can use the SAP Tools for SQL Server for this as well (note for them is mentioned in 151603).
Regards
Clas
