Single sign-on with Microsoft Kerberos SSP!!!

Hi All,

We are in process of implementing Single sign-on with Microsoft Kerberos SSP.

We’ve different user ids in SAP and AD.

Is it mandatory to have same user ids in SAP and Active Directory Server?

If yes, is there any workaround for that?

Regards,

Vishal

you should have same user id

if it is not the same, try to create a sap shortcut and with transaction SESSION_MANAGER and point ADS to the shortcut it will work.

Rajan.

I have never done it myself, as far as i know you can map other attributes if you want. Look at this screenshot of the SPNEGO wizard.

You will have to consult the documentation on the details. It may also be possible that the UME configuration needs adjustment.

Thanks Michael and Rajan.

We are implementing for ABAP System only, so I guess user ids needs to be same as mentioned by Rajan.
