Hi,
I am trying to understand if there is a real advantage on leveraging NWBC for some users. We will have a landscape with SAP ECC, SRM, EP (ESS/MSS) and BO. From what I could understand after reading some posts and from past experience, NWBC does not offer real advantages (comparing with SAP GUI + EP) apart from giving the possibility to run some Web Dynpro ABAP applications directly from the desktop. If you were considering deploying SAP for the first time would you suggest NWBC? Are you aware of a position paper from SAP regarding NWBC?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ricardo
Hi again,
I found your links useful but they don't really answer my question. What I would like to know is in which cases should we use NWBC.
Thanks.

Ricardo

NWBC is not a direct replacement for SAPGUI.
Note 1378659 states that SAPGUI is a prerequsite of NWBC client.
You will still require SAPGUI to be installed on the desktop.

Ricardo,
This link explains the difference between the NWBC standalone client and accessing NWBC via the browser. This should help you decide what is best for your environment.
