Hello All,

I am having an issue when trying to complete my ASCS install.

I am getting the error "ASCS Instance( Last error reported by the step: Instance <SID>/ASCS<##> [PARTIAL] did not start after 5:00 minutes. Giving up.)"

I have alreadt started the ASCS instance manually but I am still getting the same error when I hit retry on the install screen.

Please Help.

Hello Morgan,

check with the command:

sapcontrol -nr 80 -function GetProcessList

whether the processes of ASCS80 are started correctly.

Hi Morgan,

Did you check listener and other oracle services are started or not ? If not then start those and retry.
