Broken DCs in NWDI

Hi All,

I have created a track for Biller Direct Component in NWDI . In CBS Web UI, I have some Broken DCs (because of metadata) in one of the compartments in the buildspace.

When I open the DC, the reason for being broken is stated as "USED COMPONENT OR PUBLIC PART IS UNKNOWN OR UNDEFINED"

Anyone who has faced this error before ? Please advice.

Hi Adren,

What you have to do is basically this:

1. check the track configuration (cms -- landscape config -- track data tab), and notice the name of the dependant SCs (that are right under your custom SC)

2. check if you have checked in and imported these SCs into dev and cons.

Hi Jun/Ervin,

Found that 3 dependent DC's were not transported to DEV and Cons ..  Will import these  and let you know the results ..

HI Ervin/Juan,

Thanks.. The broken DC issue is resolved. Its because some dependent SCA's were not moved to DEV and CONS. They were missed out. Now,The DCs are not shown as broken in developer infrastructure perspective.

Now, in NWDS when I create the Project , for one of the projects (fscm/bd/ebpp) I get the following error

"The type com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$MonitoredConnectionData cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files"

Theres one thread (http://scn.sap.com/message/13523288) with the same issue but no solution .

Any idea ?

great news that the originally reported problem is gone (broken DCs).

yes, Jun is right, most likely this is about missing SC dependencies (a.k.a build plugins).

Have you import the dependent SC to the track?
