MAXDB 7.7.07.27 PROBLEM WITH INNER JOIN SELECTION

hello all,

I have a problem with inner join selection in our sap with maxdb. I have already tried the solution of deactivating query rewrite but the query runs very very slow. A query runs even for 20 minutes. Do you have a solution,a workaround, a parameter to set to overcome the problem?

Hi,

let me give you some general recommendations:

1. Upgrade your MaxDB 7.7.07.27 to the latest available version (which is 7.7.07.42 for SAP customers).

2. Run the Database Analyzer parameter check as outlined in note 1111426 to ensure all parameters are set as recommended.

3. If the query still runs slow, post the SQL here and we can take a look. If that does not help, please create a SAP customer OSS call.
