Catalog data transferred in XML format

Hi,

We are working on SRM 7.01 & MDM 3.0 implementation project and are in process to design the system to read data from internal catalo.

As we all know when the catalog data gets transferred from MDM to SRM its in HTML format.

We need that data in XML instead of HTML, to achieve this we have reffered OCI_40 document & SAP Note 1387519.

We are unclear about how to maintain the following parameter given by SAP for generating XML file

~XML_TYPE  & ~xmldocument as SAP note says these parameters are not to be maintained in catalog call structure but they should be sent from catalog. 

We are not sure how to achieve this scenario of getting XML file.

Your sincere help would be highly appriciate.

Hi Amit,

The XML data should be transferred using the oci.xsd as a template for the data, XML_TYPE should be ESAPO-3.5 and xmldocument will be the document transferred from the catalog.

The opencataloginterface.xsd is readily available on the internet. I have attached it in any case for you.
