No Info Record maintained for material

Dear Experts,

We are getting error as No info record is maintained for material during the PO creation.

Note:-

1) No QM view is extended for the material.So in this case we dont activate the QM proc. and QM control key.

2) we dont maitain QM inforecord for the material also.

Its simply because ,you have activated QM view >> QM procurement in some other plant where this material is extended.

What you have to do in such a case ,extend QM view >>activate QM procurement in plant where you are getting error & maintain control key as 0000 & save.

This will solve your issue !

Is it giving error for QM info record or Only Info record?

As you are confirming, no QM procurement is active, then it must be Info record from MM.

Goto, ME11 and maintain the info record with vendor, plant and material combination.

This error related to QM info record not Purchasing info record.

Yes,QM is maintained at Plant level but in our case no QM view is maintained for this material still we are facing issue of QM info record.

Dear Ajay

Pleae check for that particular plant becuase quality view is at plant level. Without control key it is not possible that system will ask you quality-info record.
