Error in UDF while testing in PI 7.1, recently upgraded from XI

Dear Friend,

Recently updated from SAP XI 3.0 to SAP PI 7.1,

I have an issue while testing a Mapping which has UDF in it.

error :

• Java Area import, Line 7: package com.XXX.xi.mapping.udf does not exist 
  import com.XXX.xi.mapping.udf.*; 
  ^

• Java Area import, Line 8: package com.XXX.xi.commons.lookup does not exist 
  import com.XXX.xi.commons.lookup.*; 
  ^

Please help me how to fix this.

Hi Vinay,

As Anupam said some java class are missing or does not exist.

It seems to be there is an issue with your UDF using the functions.

If you are able to provide us, can rectify it and help u to resolve the issue.

Hi Vinay,

              The UDF is referreing to a java class which has to be present in imported archive under same SWCV. Somehow the class no longer exists or you need to recompile and deploy the classes again.

Pi 7.1 supports java 1.5.  Thus if you are re-importing the java classes again then ensure you are compiling the classes using java 1.5.
