Add Custom link in Home Page

Hello Friend,

I have to added custom help link after Shop and before Check Status link in home page.. Is anybody done this kind of object.. Pleaase give an example coding..

Hi

If you want custom help, you do not need to do any coding.

Create a help folder in your webserver for all such help doc.

Create a help file (htm or PDF or DOC or..).

Copy it in your web server help folder .

Just add the URL link in the role (PFCG) wherever you want for example to SAP_ec_bbp_EMployee role.

The procedure given by me will give you that link.

You try tis, if you want to test.

PFCG

Copy role SAP_EC_BBP_EMPLOYEE and create ZSAP_EC_BBP_EMPLOYEE .

In the menu tab, put your cursor on Shop and click on '+Other' button. Select generic Webaddress URL template (or Webaddress or file). Give a text "SAP webpage".

In Webaddress or file: give a URL (http://www.sap.com);

Save the role.

In Authorizations tab, click 'Change authorization data, generate the new role.

In the user tab, give it to your srm user.

Logon to SRM and check. In your home page, you will see SAP website link after Shop and before check status.

You can do similar links for your help files also.
