Hello, I am working to setup a user defined message search in our PI System,I have created a filter list in SXMS_LMS_CONF.
The next step is to create a extractor for a particular filter. I am trying to create one such extractor by double clicking filter.
But, I dont see any screen popping up for me to create the extractor. Could anyone help me out here?
Thanks
Senthil

Hi,
Thanks for your reply Sankar.
Yes, I have gone through http://www.saptechnical.com/Tutorials/XI/Payload/Index.htm already. I am struck at step 4 of this tutorial" Double click on the filter and then click on add extractor below" . Nothing happens when I double the filter.
Thanks,
Senthil
Hi Senthil,
On Double Click on filter you have created, Just scroll down the page "Manage Filter and Search Criteria"
You can find "Search Criteria for Selected Filter" Option , Click on ADD , will display a popup window "Extractor Data" , in the Name field enter the exact Field name you mentioned in Data type, then create prefix.

Baskar
Hi Senthil,
are u using PI 7.3 ? In case you are planning to use this functionality, please note that this is not supported in a productive PI environment (as per a message we received from SAP when we raised it). This functionality will become fully productive only in PI 7.3.
Regards
Hari.
