Muliple Senders and One Reciever Communication Channel Performance issues..

Hi All,

I got a scenario File to SqlServer using File and JDBC Adapter in which i got multiple senders (ie multiple files) comm channel .So i have used different communication channel for each files. But my reciever is only one. Each file has got datas to be inserted or updated in the sqlserver table using different stored procedures.

My question will there be any performance issues for using only one Reciver comm channel for multiple sender comm channel? Will there be any problem in monitoring the process? In the long run will there be any problem b'cos of thsi design? Will it be good if i use separate reciver channels for each sender comm channel.

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Aravind

Hi Aravind,

I don't think thr will be any performance isses as such. Infact, it is a good way of designing. Only thing is how do u do the mapping coz u talked abt sm different stored procedures. Monitoring will not be an issue. The only issue Im concerned with is whr ru plcaing the different source files. Tht will imapct the way u desin ur integration scenario.

Akshay
