Dear Experts,
We have a process in which the staffing for projects is confidential until an advance point of the project. Therefore, we need to control which users are able to see staffed resources into a project and which users cannot.
Is there any standard process or authorization object in PPM5.0 that we can use to control the access, at least to the resources tab?
Thanks in advance.
BR
Neil
Hi Neil,
Simplest way is building authorization around object type MTG - Project Role in PLM-ACO category.
I hope you can solve your issue with this.

Hi Neil,
there is a BAdI to control if a detailed tab ( DPR_DETAIL_TAB_CONTROL~CHANGE_TAB_PROPERTY ) should be invisible or not:
Regarding your requirement make a implementation for certain users:
IF CS_PROPERTY-ASSOCIATION EQ 'BupaLinks'.
CS_PROPERTY-PROPERTY = 'P'. " private => invisisble
ENDIF.
The staffing tab is then invisible.
Kind regards,
Zhenbo
