Getting Junk data while sending Hexadecimal files

Hi All,

I am new to sap pi.

our scenario is file to file.

in our scenario i am trying to send hexadecimal files, for that i am giving "file encoding type as UTF-16" .

Scenario Executed successfully and files transferred to receiver, but in receiving files am getting junk data like "???????????????????" only.

why i am getting that junk data and when am giving "file encoding type as UTF-8" am getting "general mapping error" in sxmb_moni.

Please Any one can help me to resolve this issue.
