Error data while sending multiple files of encoding type UTF-16

Hi All,

I am new to sap pi.

File to File Scenario.

Our scenario was sending multiple files of encoding type UTF-16.

Our Scenario gets Executed and files transferred, but in our receiver files i got only Question marks"???????????????????"

Instead of actual data.

Why i am getting this?

Anyone Please help me.

Hi Vishnu,

The error you mentioned is in your receiver which is giving you ????? data. Your FCC for sender looks okay. Try to change the format of receiver as Text and encoding as UTF8 or UTF-16.

If you get any error than please send the log of error. Also let me know are you using any conversions in mapping. Please send the screenshot of your mapping

One more thing, i just saw your field separator in sender file adapter. There 2 times you are using '0D0A'. Can you try to use some thing like this '0x0D' '0x0A' as field separator.

Can you please write what is the exact error ur getting and where your getting this error, In sxmb_moni or it's failing in communication channel.

As per your screenshot i have understood.  Your source structure is having only 1 field right.

what is the format of source and target file?

what kind of data you are sending in source file?

Have you changed your encoding to UTF-8 and try it.

format of source and target files was hexadecimal.

we are sending Hexadecimal Data.

Already i changed file encoding type to UTF-8 but got an error in "SXMB_MONI" like "General Mapping error".

Hi Vishnu,

can u paste the XML file in SXMB_MONI Before Mapping step.

Also try by specifying file type as text and encoding type as UTF-8 in Receiver file adapter.
