Fire fighter issue after GRC 10.0 plugin installation in bw system

Hello,

I have removed 5.3 plug in and installed 10.0 plugin in our BW system. After that I face issues in fire fighter. FF users require S_ICF and FF id's require S_RFCAL.

I have maintained SSM_AUTH_CHECK with value NO in SPRO settings for the plug in.

The same settings were done in ERP system and I didn't face any issue with fire fighter there.

Any suggestion will be of great help.

Hi Anil,

The error message is due to an additional authorization check required for RFC connectors using Thrusted method.Please review the sap note-1740411 & 1579570 for detailed infomration.

Thanks for the reply. FF worked when I added s_icf and s_rfcal in BW system

But these were not required in my R/3 system. Any thoughts on this ?

Hi Anil,

The S_RFCACL authorization is mandatory in order to perform the trusted
logon to the system.

Please follow the sap note 128447 which recommends S_RFCACL for trusted
RFC connections and for the ABAP dump CALL_FUNCTION_SINGLE_LOGIN_REJ
that you might experience if you do not add the Authorization S_RFCAL.

Incidentally SPM application also recommend the same
authorization object for getting the fixes on trusted RFC
concept within SPM as part of security fixes.
