SPNEGO for Solution Manager

Hello Friends

Can we configure SPNEGO for Solution Manager?

I have a Solution Manager 7.1 system which is running on AIX/DB2 UDB.

We have configured Documents display via URL and its working fine with a logon pad for entering their SOLMAN User ID and password.

We want to use SPNEGO to supress this action.

We cannot supress the Logon alone at the RFC level as it would breach the Security policies(anyone having access to the URL will have access to display the document).

I have read the blogs relating to SPNEGO Configuration like below:

My datasource is pointing to dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml and LDAP tab is missing.

I have read the Note 718383 - NetWeaver: Supported UME Data Sources and Change Options and know that the Datasource could not be changed.

I just want to use LDAP to supress the Users entering their User ID and password. All the User authorizations would be maintained in ABAP in Future also.

Please help me..

Hi Praveen,

You should be able to configure to the LDAP as your data source in Java.. and perform SPNEGO configuration for your Java..

Can you send us a screenshot with the UME config page sayign where the LDAP is missing?

We are able to configure SPNEGO finally without configuring the LDAP. Thanks Holger..

We have just skipped the step and configured the Realms. It is asking for few ADS details and that has resolved the issue.
