Short Receipt during TO confirmation

Hi Experts,

Need your valuable inputs on the below scenario.

I received a material with 10qty and a TO got created automatically for 10qty.

While doing confirmation, it was found to be short of 2 qty and hence confirmed with difference of 2 qty.

The difference qty moved to storage type 999 with stock category as Q(since it's a quality managed part).

During inspection lot processing, the entire lot has been rejected and the stock put into blocked stock.

System is moving the qty from 999 storage type also to blocked stock status.

Now the stock in blocked stock is 10, but physically only 8 qty is available

How to avoid this situation?

i tried changing the stock category using LQ02, but system is not allowing to change.

Its perfectly fine , all you need to do is to clear 999 - difference bucket in LI21 ,  this will reconcile inventory at IM and WM.

Hi,

Issue is stock is getting moved from 999 to Blocked storage type.

So we will not able to clear that.

Dear Venkatesh  ,

You have block stock at IM and WM levels.QM has posted some stock in blocked which resulted in posting change in WM in this case 999 having block stock.

Check the LS24 in WM and MMBE in IM and analyse block stock , if it matches 999 is goods enough to be cleared .
