Activating Web based or Portal based Document Management System

I have got a requirement which has to be addresed by using a web based Content Mangement System or by using KM Portal for Viewing PDF Docs,Uploading images from mobile devices like tablets.Since DMS does not fully support the concept of mobility and Folder structure over web,I am asking for the above mentioned soultions or is it possible to replicate DMS functionality and additonal requirements if we go for Webdynpro based portal solution.

Saw this below demo,kindly give some inputs on developing something similar,

Hello Siva,

You can configure DMS connector for KM Portal. With this you will be able to upload, edit, download the DMS documents from the Portal.
