Hello,

I am working on PO (rather i would say i my client will install PO), and I have a requirement to integrate Sender Rest Web Service with PI (Rest WS<->PI<->ECC). I know we can buy NetWeaver certified PI REST adapter license from Advantco but i am looking for some other options (may be SOAP-Axis can help me on this? ).

Request you to guide and help me in chossing something good.

Thanks

Hi Anupam,

I have already checked the above links and in fact it actually insisted me to think that SOAP-Axis can also be helpful in integrating synchronous sender rest web service. But i wanted to be sure before suggesting anything to client?

Thanks

Hi,

As stated above, sender app. will send the message (using rest WS) and expects the response in a sync. manner, but the blog stated above are either talking about static calls (sender side) or sync call on the receiver side and i am looking for sender side configuration steps using SOAP-AXIS.

So anyone can help me on this?

Thanks

Hi Amit,

I have done a scenario, using the SOAP- Axis adapter at receiver side.

I am sure that we can use the SOAP-Axis Adapter for synchronous scenarios. But not sure that will that supports REST Webservices standards.
