Dear Experts,
We encounter outage of power supply in our data center, all SAP system and tape devices were shutdown by incident. After system restarted, we found that the backup job for DB2 database (defined in tcode: DB13) is always failed, it seems the job never started, the status as I double click on the timeframe is"Scheduling failed", no job log generated...
The strange is if I schedule backup in DB13 by manual, the backup process can be done successfully, however the routine tasks (backup on 17:00PM every day) were failed everyday.
We backup data directly to tape.
Could any one give some suggestions how to recover it?
Thank you in advance.

Hi..
Are you able to take the backup manually from OS level by the command which is triggered from DB13??
THanks,
Jagadish
