User Mapping in PI

Hi,

I need to logon to PI with User1 and map this user to User2 in SAP

I have set up working Principal Propagation between PI and SAP.

I would like to know if User Mapping for System Access in Identity Management can be used to do the usermapping??

If above is not the correct way how is this done?

My version of PI is 7.31 single-stack

Have you seen Michal's Pseudo Principal Progation blog?  Since you do the integration between PI and SAP, you might want to check the below link which describes SOAP adapter & ASMA  on the sender side and retrieve UserName and pass the same to RFC message.

Does this mean there is no standard User Mapping in PI or backend for Principal Propagation?

Bare in mind that i have principal propagation up and running just need to map to a different user in backend.
