SAP Note 1161411 & 1327082

Hello Friends & Experts,

                                   Our BASIS team is in the process of updating application patch SAPKH60016 ( SAP_APPL) for Logistics and Accounting application. Currently we are using support pack SAPKH60015 level 0015 version ECC 6.0 .

Few SAP Notes (given below) are coming along with it.

1. So, my query is : Is there any harmful impact of implementing these notes?
2. What this note 1161411 is all about, please help me to understand it.
3. Note 1327082 : Is it mean that implementing it wont give the information like Data you have entered will be lost. Do you want to save the data?Is it a program error? please enlighten.

Hi Ankur,

Going through both the notes, i feel its not at all harmful if you implement these notes. The first note talks about some performance issue due to a select on table AUFK with an incorrect index, which would be rectified once this note is implemented. So no harm in implementing it.

The second note is provided by SAP to tackle the bizzarre behaviour of the system i.e. In the display mode, even when you do not change the estimated values system comes up with a pop up asking you whether to save or not. Firstly, in the display mode this should not happen. Secondly, if you do not change any values system should not ask for confirmation to save.

Hope its clear now . One more thing, as far as notes concerned with performance improvements are concerned you can very well go ahead and implement them.
