We have PI 7.3 enhance package 1 Java single stack on a distributed system. When configurating inBoundRA resource adapter, we setup GatewayServer on CI and GatewayService on CI gateway. However, the inBoundRA tries to register itself to the app server gateway which does not exist. Below is a error messages.
Text:
Accept in RfcAccept( -g"10.3.71.26" -x"sapgw21" -a"XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PID") throws RfcException: [null]
message: Connect to SAP gateway failed
Connection parameters: TPNAME=XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PID GWHOST=10.3.71.26 GWSERV=sapgw21
ERROR partner '10.3.71.26:sapgw21' not reached
Is this a bug in SAP? Since we need to setup local to true, inBoundRA tries to register itself in the local host which is the app server in the distributed system and fails.
