Inbound mail with attachement in SNC

Hi Experts,

Need your urgent help to understand the prerequisites & Steps to confgure Inbound email with attachement in SAP SNC

Scenario : -

The requirement is to receive attachment ( CSV) sent form Outlook mail ID to SAP SNC box.

The file is then uploaded via background job.

1.We tried to perform some settings in SPRO -> Supply Network Collaboration-> Tools -> File transfer but then we were not sure of what is to maintained in each field

2.Do we have to setup any SMTP connection or similar thing ?

we are working on SCM 7.0 version

Hi Rahul,

I am not the expert as I have not setup this process, but the approach is as follows:

Per my understanding, you will need to maintain in SPRO

Determine Accepted E-Mail Addresses for File Upload

Create E-Mail Texts

Determine E-Mail Texts

Once the above is setup. If you setup to send the CNF download file via email to supplier, he will have to update the confirmation in the file and send the file via email to a specific email ID.

The email Id should be updated in SNC spro.   You should setup the job FTR Upload as appropriate.
