We are looking at solution options for Equipment and Tools Tracking for an Engineering company from the PS perspective. the process flow is as follows:
Equipment Tracking in SD/PM:
- Asset Procurement - PO - Delivery Note - Inventory - SAP PM - Equipments - Serialization.
- Create a contract with a billing period plan
a) Tracking in SD Process Flow: Create a sales order for the service > create a delivery note > post goods issue to update the equipment movement > create invoice > after completion of service return the tolls and equipment.
b) Tracking in PS - For a service related to equipment usage can we convert this as a project? If so how? We want to track the inter plant movement of this equipments too.
