Allocation structure problem

when we run t-code CJ88 for Settle the network "maintain Sources for Allocation Structure A1 in Controlling Area 5001" error occurs. plz. provide Solution.

Hi Mayoor,

Ankur is right.

This is perfectly CO issue.

In allocation structure there is no source defined.

In Allocation structure we define Source, Target & carrier.

We assign allocation structure in settlement profile.

In OKO7, See allocation structure assigned to your settlement profile.

In that allocation structure(Path has been specified in above post) you have to ensure the range of cost element defined there is covering GL which contains expenses.

e.g. expense is in 400002 and you to capitalize it then this must be defined as source in allocation structure.

Settlement profile depends upon project type(CAPEX or OPEX) and thus allocation structure. So do with in consent of CO consultant.

Hi Mayoor,

               You need to follow a few steps to resolve that error :

Create allocation structure->Assign allocation structure to settlement profile->that settlement profile to your project profile or WBS.

Based on the error message, assumed that the allocation structure might be created but source not assigned. So, you have to specify the source(cost element/cost element group) under allocation structure.

Useful path: SPRO->PS->Costs->automatic & periodic allocations->settlement->settlement profile.

Also, try one more thing , in OKO7 remove the source structure and check again.
