Hi experts,
We are starting a project to upgrade GRC Process Control from version 3.0 to version 10. After this upgrade we have a need of set a list of new controls whose data come from other application different of SAP.
The idea is to export data from this legacy application to a flat file, and then connecting Process Control to this file to read data and create new controls.
We have found in PC 3.0 the connection type LOCAL, but we don´t know if this is the correct type and how to configure the connector.
Thanks in advance,
Diego,
We are trying the same thing with a client, do you make it work finally?
Regards!

If I understand correctly, you are trying to add additional controls from another (legacy) system to your controls which were brought over to PC 10 from a PC 3.0 upgrade. The way to do this is to use CLM (Content Lifecylce Management), one of the new features of PC 10. You would need to create a flat file from the legacy system and then cut and paste the data into an Excel spreadsheet created as an export from PC 10 using CLM. When you have added the additional controls to that CLM export, you can then reimport the spreadsheet. The new controls will now be added. The instructions are avilable in the CLM user guide. Be advised the formatting can be somewhat tricky and unforgiving.
