Time dis aggregation in DP

Dear all,

Is there any standard way of generating time disaggregation factors and manually manage the disaggregation factors to change the forecast?

I tried copying the sales history figures(KF1) to another key figure(KF2) in future buckets. The time disaggregation for forecast is based on KF2. The forecast disaggregates proportionally with respect to time but when I change the proportions in KF2 the changes are not reflected in the forecast. The requirement is to maintain time proportions from years to months, months to weeks and weeks to split weeks. Can this be achieved only through development?

Try this:

- Have the storage buckets profile maintained at the granularity of Day level and try if it works.

- Or Check if time disaggregation is working at least when you change the values in forecast KF Or generate a new forecast AFTER you have already made the manual changes to the proportions in KF2

- If above is working, then you could have a macro job that could run anytime you change the proportions to KF2, this macro should copy forecast KF to the same forecast KF with a re-disaggreate option selected.
