Hi all,
In MDUG excel template, in the sheet "central control" , is possible assign the same control to different processes?
Thanks in advance.
Daniele.
No, but I believe you can use the referenced control capability. You can't do this in MDUg, but after the controls are loaded and assigned this will work for the local controls. The following is from the training material:
Referenced Controls allow an Organization to test in one Organization/Subprocess
and take credit for the testing of the control in reporting in the different
Organization/Subprocess. Referencing controls can cross over to other
Organizations or stay within the same Organizations, but in different Subprocesses.
Only Subprocesses that were assigned allowing local changes will allow you to
reference a Control to it.
Note: Prerequisite:
Control(s) must have the flag “Allow Referencing”
activated before they will appear when you search for a control.

I solved my problem by adding a code before the name of the control.
Thank you all for the answers.

Hi Daniele,
What do you want to achieve by adding same cetral control to different processes. Anyways as Process control functionality you can add one central control to one subprocess and this subprocess to one process. If you want 2 similar central controls in different processes through MDUG , you just need to create 2 rows for each with different parents.

Smita.
