DCN HWC - no workflow message is sent because no device is found to send the mail

Hi friends,

How to solve the error

"no workflow message is sent because no device is found

to send the mail" on implementing DCN in HWC application?

In Sybooks solution is given below:

Solution: To initiate the binding manually, instruct the user to invoke a workflow from the device, or run an MBS application on the device. This action should invoke a certain MBO query, which requires a Sybase Unwired Platform user.

  1. Invoke any other Unwired Platform application (for example, a client-initiated or server-initiated workflow application, or a native application), which maps an Unwired Platform application connection to an MBS user.
  2. Send the DCN with to":" < this SUP user >.

But I don't didn't get any idea on the above solution. Can anyone explain it in detail please.

Thanks

Hi Midhun,

In Below wf-dcn format you need to give registered username in the "to" address say for example "supAdmin" in order to send the message to the user associate with the device.

{”id”:””,”op”:””,”subject”:””,”to”:”supAdmin”,”from”:””,”read”:””,”priority”:””,”body”:””,

“data”:[{”id”:””,”pkg”:”Package”,”messages”:[{”id”:”2”,”mbo”:”MBO”,”op”:”:upsert”,

”cols”:{”attribute1”:”value1”,”attribute2”:”value2”,”attribute3”:”value3”}}

Thanks,
