Content Import

Hi

I have configured my Import Server, but when I select import, my import wizard starts but on the first screen I do not see the modeler folder? I only have the following displayed;

     General

     RunDebug

     SAP HANA Content

     SAP HANA Studio

     Team

I have connected using the SYSTEM account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael,

These are the options you should expect when you select import from the quick launch.

To import data

you have several options. Try HANA Studio > Tables >Click next>enter the path to your upload directory.

You can also go into SAP HANA content and see different import options. Hover over the options to see a description of what they are used for.

Thanks for the reply, but what I am looking for is the Information Modeler folder, if you look at the document below on page 14. I have a development environment where I can see this folder when I try import but not on production?

Hi Michael,

I think this may be a version difference. I do not have this folder option in my version 35. If you can see it in your development system but not your production system my guess is security.

Have a look at the roles and privleges you have assigned. Perhaps this could be a reason.

Are you production and development HANA server versions the same? This might be the problem.

I am out of the office for the remainder of this week so I will not be able to check this till I return but I think both your comments could be correct. If this is the case where would I find my Source Objects given the structure and work flow in the two links above?

Same issue here with SAP HANA Platform Edition 1.0 SP04 and SAP HANA Studio 1.0.32.201206211814

Any conclusion?

Hi,

Yes the folder structure is different. Do selective meta data import.
