Hi,
We are on SOLMAN 7.0 and have a solution setup (via transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER). We use the check out/in feature to check out scenarios and processes to a maintenance project. Once changes have been made, the updated content is checked back into the solution.
However, there is one REALLY annoying feature that occurs during this process. When a business process is checked-out, this includes all the related documentation. The documentation status always changes to "In Processing" when it's checked out into the Maintenance Project. It can't be checked back into the solution until all documentation has a status of "Released". So we are forever updating documentation statuses from In Processing to Released (even if no changes have occured to that document).
Is there a way for the documentation to remain in "Released" status after being checked-out to the Solution? It would make life MUCH, MUCH easier.
Thanks
Shaun
I stumbled across this note:
Note 1286652 - Check-out of processes: "Production" status disappears
https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1286652
Does this sound promising?
