Do you have master recipe or Routing? What could be the purpose for set up time for alternative resource if you have the setup for main resource as separate operation that would enough.
Yes, we have routing and setup for the main resource for each operation. However, the same material, the same operation will be scheduled to the alternate machine under circumstances that the main resource is occupied or we would like to schedule parallel run as the alternate machine is able to run the same operation, and etc.
You can have a separate operation for setup if you can also use setup group and setup matrix.
For your second operation it will be for processing which will have alternate resource. So you can refer the set up from the first operation for these alternative resource too.
