Getting "files" from Portal-Server into XI

I have to poll Files from a SAP-Portal to SAP-XI. The only Standard-Adapter which are polling in a interval are the JDBC- and the File-Adapter.

The Files on the Portal are not in a "regular" Filefolder, so it isn't possible to "share" this folder. To use the File-adapter i need a Driveletter or an UNC-Path. Both of the methods won't work, because the "WEBDAV" is not really stable and we couldn't bring it to work.

Does anybody know a stable possibility to poll files from a SAP-Portal to XI?

did you try mapping it ?

have a look at this doc:

it's not in English but just check the screens maybe you can map

it in the same way ?

I didn't try it so I don't know if it's stable but maybe it will give you some idea

Hi Michael,

this didn't work, until we install a ms-office on the XI-Server (windows-based).

Now it work, but this (webdav mapping on the XI) is not the way we like to get it to production.
