Completed OTRs

Dear Experts,

I'm creating OTRs in TM 8.1 using the IntracompanyTransportationRequestRequest_In enterprise service and they are 'Completed' and 'Consumed Completely' soon as they are created! Any ideas?

Hi Steve,

in the OTR type you define if requested or confirmed quantities are relevant for planning. If confirmed quantities are relevant for planning and there are no confirmed quantities then the OTR will be completed.

For instance in case of a purchase order you have always to use an OTR type where requested quantities are relevant because there will be no confirmed quantitites ...

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the answer. The OTR type I am using is defined as '01 Plan on Requested Quantities' so at least that is correct. Do you know where I will see the requested quantity in the XI XML? in the scheduleLineInformation?

Hi Steve,

you could also check whether your items are relevant for transportation (flag on item level, you can see it on the UI as well).

Yes the OTRs are flagged as both Transportation and Delivery relevant.
