NWBC for SUS

Hi,

We are implementing SRM 7.02 along with ECC Ehp 5. We have following scenarios:

MM-SUS          - PO;POR;ASN;Confirmations

SRM-SUS        - RFX & Live Auction ABAP on SUS system Outside Firewall

UI for MM-SUS scenarios are available with BSP & SRM-SUS scenarios are available with NWBC ?

Is it possible to setp up common UI (Either BSP or NWBC) for both of above functionalities ?

Hi,

There is little ambiguity in your question. To clarify the functionalities;

SUS code is still in BSP unlike SRM which is on ABAP from SRM7.0 onwards.

NWBC is only the front end system to log in to SUS/SRM and is an alternative for netweaver portal.

You can access SUS BSP pages from NWBC UI log in also. You can run all the processes mentioned in your question.

If I understood correctly, SUS setup has to be done with BSP & further on we can set up NWBC to connect to BSP pages ?

However for RFX & Live Auction with ABAP on SUS system are possible via NWBC directly ?

Apart if you have any Idea if any EP Content is available for both above scenarios ?

Hi

RFx and RFx outside firewall is very much possible in NWBC system.

Through NWBC it is possible to run live auction. Live auction runs in ABAP system but for display portal or NWBC is needed.

For live auction your browser should have Java runtime.

There is no specific content in EP for any specific scenario. User needs to have appropriate roles (/SAPSRM/ST_PURCHASER in this case) for specific scenario.
