System disappeared from MMC

hello All,

There is a big problem on my server...

I have tried to install SP16 on EP 6.0 and after that things are not working properly at all..

Now i am not able to view any of my two systems Portal and XI.

I tried to start services from control Panel that is also not working...

I tried to add system trough Properties in SAPsystem in MMC that is also not working...

I have excevuted that Sapmmc.dll also .......

Plzzzz Guide me wat to do now ASAP.

Give user name as SAPService<SID> and the passord you have set for this id

We had a similar issue with EP 7.We executed the following steps to rectify the issue.

1) Go to folder \usr\sap\<SID>\exe\uc\NTI386 & execute the command sapstartsrv

2) Give the details user as SAP Service<SID> and click on the checkbox of Use Environment & there give user as <sid>adm

3) Add for all the instances, which are running on the same server and then open SAPMMC console & start the server.

Thanks for replying..

I would have given you the points ..

but its not getting started through it..

It is giving me the specified service does not exits as an installed service...

I am keeping user and password field blank if anything to specifiy here just let me know..
